We are talking about BUGS and BUTTERFLIES this week. We have been "researching" with lots of fun and interesting books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Butterfly Flutterby and Ten Little Ladybugs. Here Evan is gluing little caterpillar eggs onto a leaf. These eggs are special...they have each letter of our name on them. Evan, Carly Sue and Carmine are gluing their letters onto the leaves and following the pattern of their names.
MONDAY
We also made caterpillars out of play dough. Evan picked green play dough to look like the caterpillar in the book. We rolled little balls and lined them up to make different sizes of caterpillars.
Evan decided to count his. He said that his Caterpillar was "hungry and big".
Then Evan made a slide for his caterpillar to use.
Carly Sue is making little tiny legs for her caterpillar.
