Puffy Paint Flowers

It is hard to tell from the pictures but we are painting a 3D flower. We are using puffy paint which is always very cool. On our paper's I drew the outline of a big flower, a smaller flower and a round center. After they dried, I cut out the pieces and they glued them together, along with a stem and leaves.

There were a few different colors and the girls were very good about asking for a turn and sharing with each other.

After they did their sheet with their flowers they also painted a few extras. I always appreciate having extras. Evan was very busy at the time and didn't want to paint. Also, Carmine was not here but I knew that he might want to put a flower together. With the extras both Evan and Carmine were able to make a flower, too!

What is neat about puffy paint is that when it dries, it feels a little "spongy".

Nice work friends!!
