Apple Tree...Continued :)

On Friday we finished our week long Apple week by making the top to our Apple Tree. We used glue in fall colors and glued leaves onto green construction paper. Then, while the glue was still wet, we sprinkled glitter. Lots and lots of glitter because who doesn't love a sparkly apple tree. Over the weekend I put the tops on our tree trunk and added the apples that we made earlier in the week with the puffy paint. Check it out...It is growing by the cubbies.

Sienna is noticing how glue on the Q-tip makes the leaf stick.

Evan and Sienna are placing their leaves in just the right spots.

Caraline's glue is green and Carly Sue is mixing orange paint into her glue.

Almost ready for GLITTER!

Lucy is getting the last of her glue.

Now we're talking. Glitter time.

I believe Evan's exact words were, "Soooo pretty, Ms. Paula!"

Lucy is shaking out her glitter onto the spots on her paper that have glue. She wanted the red one and was able to tell me that it was red. Good job, Lucy!
