Mega Blocks with Evan, Caraline and Carly Sue

Here are a few pictures of Caraline, Carly Sue and Evan building with Mega-Blocks. They spent time working together and on their own. Evan said he was building a wide garage. Carly Sue built a princess tower (of course!) and Caraline said she was making a house. They did a great job sharing and working together. 08/25/11

Quiet Time for Caraline

Here is a super cute picture I snapped of Caraline. She picked out six or seven books and brought them over to the chair. She "read"all of them!

Lucy picked out a pink heart for her ladybug. We glued on a smaller heart for the ladybug head and added dots and eyes.

Perfect!!!



Elly was able to join us for this one. She did a great job.

Carmine also thought this was pretty cool. He said he liked squeezing the bottle.

Carly Sue was thrilled when she woke up and saw that it was time to make ladybugs!



Caraline is an expert with the glue bottle. She had so much fun that when she finished with her ladybug, she continued gluing more dots on another piece of paper.

Watercolors times 2

We had such fun with the watercolors on Tuesday that they asked for them again on Wednesday!

Here we are tracing over our names with watercolors. We are always working on Letter/Name Recognition. It is very exciting that we now have three C's in our group. It is also fun to add an L into the mix. So now our favorite letters are E, L, C, O and P.

Dress Up FUN!!! 08/22/11

We decided to dress up for an extra special Monday. Carly Sue put on her party shoes and Evan found a "fancy" hat.

Here we all are with ready for a super day! Elly is accessorizing with a great smile and Caraline found the perfect hat to go with her dress.

Lucy didn't want to take off her back pack to get dressed up, but she still joined in on the fun.

Everyone looks GREAT!!!

Evan is trying a sporty shirt and tie combination. 



His sleeves are a little on the long side but he still looks handsome!



Carly Sue and Evan are all set for the "dance party".

Water Wonderland 08/19/11

Caraline is putting sponges into a little bottle. She was then able to use her index finer to get them all out.

Lucy and Carly Sue are sharing sponges. They are taking turns squeezing out the water and passing them back and forth to each other.

Evan is filling up his container with sea animals and one motorcycle.

This is Caraline's big sister Elly. We had a chance to meet her and have her join us for a few days before her school started. She was so much fun to play with. She is a great big sister to Caraline and a wonderful new friend!



Sponge Painting 08/18/11

We got out our favorite paint colors and our springtime sponges. Carly Sue is mixing the blue and yellow together. Carmine likes to push, push, push on his sponges.

Caraline is making beautiful flowers. She does a great job covering her entire paper.



Lucy likes to push the sponge down and then use her finger to give her print the finishing touches. Evan spent quite a bit of time working on trees. He did the leaves in a green and his trunk in blue.

A true bunch of Artists, if I do say so myself!!!
