End of the Year???? What??? Already???

I can't believe that this year has come and gone already! We have been soooo busy and having the time of our lives. I love my group of kids and the adventures that we go on, every single day! Sorry that I can not post pictures on this sight anymore. It just takes soooo long and we have tons of pictures. That is why I switched to FB. It makes it sooo much easier to share with our families all of the fun and learning that we are doing here. Thanks for checking out the sight! If you are interested in childcare, please don't hesitate to call.....Thanks!

Last of the October pictures (sorry)

This was an activity that we did cutting and gluing with tissue paper. Tissue paper is a little easier to cut for beginners.

Evan and Lucy working together at the writing center!

Carly Sue is giving Evan a "short cut!"
I am not sure if my reading glasses are helping, though!

Lucy is getting in on the action.

.Evan and Carmine are building a road with the big blocks. They have are expanding under the table.

Caraline is working on a portion of the road and driving her car.

Here comes Carly Sue to join in on the construction fun.

Lucy is taking a break. She didn't fall asleep but I sure thought she was going to.

Lucy is putting glue on her ghost and then filling it with cotton.

Now she is adding eyes and a spooky mouth.

Carly sue is making her ghost while Evan looks on. He is trying to decide if he wants to glue.

Caraline with the glue.

Sienna is starting her ghost while Caraline finishes up.

Two friends on the couch, waiting for the others to get ready so we can go outside and enjoy the sunshine!

Tiger Masks

Lucy is painting her paper plate orange. We are going to make Tiger Masks. We learned some new words with this project... half circle and semi-circle.

Sienna is evaluating her work and deciding if she needs any more paint.

Evan has carefully covered his Tiger ears.

Now he is working on his semi-circle.

Caraline decided to paint with a toothbrush instead of a paintbrush.

We can't forget the stripes. Here Sienna is putting glue on her stripes before putting them on her mask.

Carly Sue is also putting glue onto her tiger stripes.

Caraline is adding a nose after working on her stripes.

Here is the finished product. Guess who???

Party Time!!

Here are a few pictures (late ones) from a couple of weeks ago, when we celebrated Carly Sue's Birthday! It was extra special because Elly was able to join us and we always like it when that happens.

We made party hats. Here Evan is gluing a few of the left over bats onto his hat.

Carly Sue opted for hearts and flowers to glue onto her hat.
Elly also went with a heart and flower theme.

Caraline's hat had a really cool 3D effect.

Lucy took a break from gluing to give me a smile. Thanks, Lucy!

Elly's finished party hat!

Carly Sue trying out her party horn.

Sienna looking so cute in her hat.

Caraline picked a gold horn. They were a little tricky to blow but she got the hang of it.

Waiting for the cupcakes!

Carly Sue blew out all 4 candles, while her friends sang.

Of course she picked pink!!!

Sienna went with blue and I think it's a hit!

YUMMY!!!

Evan asked for extra sprinkles! Who could blame him?

I think Lucy likes her yellow cupcake.

Carly Sue still talks about her birthday party and sharing it with her friends. Thanks!!

Pizza Dough Recipe

Last week we made a super simple pizza dough that was allergy friendly and really yummy! Even better, it was super easy to make. It doesn't require yeast and from start to finish it took about 20 min. (if I remember correctly)  You mix the ingredients together and it resembles a pancake batter. You then put it in a skillet and cook it, flipping once, like a giant pancake. Then you put on your toppings and pop it in the oven.

I recommend splitting the batch up. Evan in my big saute pan that is about the size of a med pizza, it was just a tad bit doughy.
