Banana Muffins

Today we did Science the Yummy way! We had a recipe that we "read" for Banana Muffins. We scooped, measured and mixed the ingredients. We watched what happened when we mixed our dry ingredients with the wet ones. Then we baked them and presto....yummy muffins.

Evan is getting the sifter ready, so he can sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Carly Sue is going to get the flour ready for measuring.

She pours it into the sifter, so that Evan can sift it.

Evan is getting the bananas ready. Mash! Mash! Mash!

We decided to use one cup of apple sauce, instead of the butter.
Evan is adding it to his mashed bananas.

The key is in the mixing. Evan is an excellent mixer. Way to go Evan!
Line the pan with paper cups.

Scoop in the batter. Now we can bake them.

Well they turned out great! We were so excited about how yummy they were that I forgot to take a picture of the finished product. You know what that means? We'll have to make more.
